Colors of fall


I love the colors of fall: the yellows, oranges, burned umbra's and browns. As it gets cooler outside we enjoy the warming trends inside. Especially white interiors can benefit from warm colors.











I can see the carpet on a white floor, the warm brown of the chest of drawers next to the table lamp. The kelim covered chair is a favorite of mine. The sofa is a stunner and needs some cozy pillows (1 & 2) like those above. A lovely scented candle adds to a enveloping atmosphere. And don't you love a little pouf around for extra seating or your feet up?

    OK, love what you collected here! I am so after that copper chest and lamp! It is lovely and I want to just cozy up for fall! Love everything! How are you? Sorry haven't been by in awhile. Haven't really been blogging that much or going on other blogs. After what happened to Marija, I kind of lost my gusto. It was so sad. Trying to get back into posting several times a week again! Your blog looks great and love your new photo!

    I love the way color against a white canvas can immediately mirror the colors of each season.

    beautiful colors! at this time of year i especially love deep purples- i think this color palette works in the meals we prepare (butternut squash and red beets!), the clothes we wear, and the way we dress our homes!

    Especially loving these pillows!! I'm ready for fall too. Just hope it hangs around awhile. It always seems like it goes from summer straight into winter here in Indiana :(
