I heard his singing at this year Prom at the Royal Albert Hall. He sang like a bird as lightly as it was climbing a tall tree...his tone is crystal clear like a bell. You couldn't believe to see the faces of the men in the audience. Who would have imagined he would sound like that? Alfred Deller is one of my favourite counter-tenors.
