Why not write a love letter? Pour out your heart and let it sing on a sheet of paper, something to be carried in a pocket, a ribbon around or kept in a box, cherished by your children one day?
There is something wonderful to receive a
letter containing this message...I love you with all my heart!
I have a wonderful letter from my Grandmother with her blessings of our marriage and I love that she wrote it on a simple sheet of paper. Off to write my love a letter and set the table for a family dinner, full of love and chocolate fondue for dessert. pve
I love your new photo!! We burned our love letters - they were so boring - but when Warren was away at college and I still in high school I wrote 3-5 times a week. he would often get none for several days and then several on the same day. Phone calls were so expensive at that time. Very pre cell phone days!!! A Valentine Wish to you and your family for a lovely day! :)
Fashion, Art and other fancies: I agree; nothing could be sweeter! Patricia: This is truly a blessing! I have a couple of letters by my grandmother as well, I cherish them deeply! I always loved her writing and penmanship! Mel: Isn't this lovely? Me too, I have them stacked away! Rebecca: Thank you dear friend! You did? well, you have them all in your heart I am sure! Anita: Thanks for looking in today! You will get through it all and you are going to enjoy all your hard labor! Can't wait to see some of it! xoxo
I agree. We don't write enough letters anymore. There's a beauty in having your feelings written out with your own hand. I love seeing people's signatures and handwriting. There's so much personality in it!
Ah, what a romantic post. I adore the poetry of words on paper. Happy Valentine to you and family, too. Warmly hope all is well. xoxoxo
